This is my bestfriend Jeanne (everyone calls her Jen). We meet when I started a new school freshman year, she approched me and introduced herself, me being the shy person I am said hi and responded to the questions she was asking like I was hypnotized. We saw eachother alot that year passing in the halls and in homeroom. The following year once again we were assigned to the same homeroom, but I was still to shy to make friends, the next year flew bye and senior year came, once again you guessed it same homeroom. School was going great the first couple of weeks, I had quite a few friends but not many. One day after school I had to go to the doctors, I found out that day that I was 9 weeks pregnant with my first child.
The next day it was as if someone had posted it in the newspaper, several people approched me and asked me if it was true. Jen came to me and asked me the same thing, I told her the truth, she then told me she also was pregnant. To be perfectly honest, I was happy, because now we had a connection, something that would bring us closer.
Jen had her baby girl on February 28, 1992. She was premature, and required surgery. She was a beautiful baby.
I had my son on May 15,1992, He was born with a dislocated hipbone, he had to wear a brace for 6 months. We graduated Highschool 3 weeks later. Jen and I hung out that entire summer, going for rides with the babies. Some where, somehow we lost touch with eachother for awhile and then found eachother again.
About 2 years when finally we found eachother again. She lives in Florida now, and i wish so much that she would move back to Maine, but i guess i will have to give it time....
So Jen, I dedicate this page to you, my best friend and my soul sister. Because if it wasnt for you a part of me would still be empty. You have completed and filled that hole, that part of me I so much needed in a friend! I love ya sis! ((((HUGS))))
